Frequently asked questions

Prices depend on the document, language pair, deadline and destination country, so every quote is individual and free of charge.

What is a certified translation?

A complete and accurate translation accompanied by a signed statement of the translator or translation company and a stamp. It is the form usually requested for official use.

What is the difference between an apostille and legalization?

An apostille is a single certificate used between member countries of the 1961 Apostille Convention. Legalization is a chain of stamps — ministry, then embassy or consulate — used when one country is not a member.

Is Afghanistan a member of the Apostille Convention?

No. Afghan documents for use abroad are normally verified by the competent Afghan authorities and then legalized by the embassy or consulate of the destination country.

Why don't you publish prices?

Every request is different: the number of pages, the language pair, the destination country and the deadline all change the work involved. We send a free, fixed quote after seeing your document.

How do I send my documents?

Use the quote form or email a clear scan or photo of every page. When originals are needed, we explain how to send them safely.

How long does it take?

Most certified translations are ready in 2–4 working days. Legalization depends on the offices involved; we give you a realistic timeline with your quote.

Do you translate handwritten documents?

Yes, as long as the handwriting is legible. Unclear parts are marked as illegible in the translation, as is standard practice.

Are my documents kept confidential?

Yes. Documents are used only to process your request and are handled by the team members working on it. See our privacy policy for details.

Can you help Afghans living abroad?

Yes. We prepare powers of attorney, retrieve documents from Afghanistan and legalize them for use in your country of residence.

Which languages do you work in?

Dari, Pashto and English, plus German, French, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, Urdu, Farsi, Uzbek, Tajik, Chinese, Hindi, Italian, Spanish, Dutch and Scandinavian languages.
